Our Fabric Selection

 600D Polyester

Polyester is a fabric that is very durable and wear resistant as well as fast drying. In places that experience high humidity levels and frequent rain, polyester is an ideal material to use for a travel backpack since it offers a much faster drying time. It is also resistant to mildew that often grows in other materials when they are kept in one place for an extended period. Additionally, polyester is highly resistant to stains and is therefore safe to use in any environment Washing is also very easy, and you only need to dry clean the surface with a piece of cloth to have the material looking fresh again.     It is probably one of the most popular materials used in backpacks globally. It is also recyclable and thus safe for the environment. And even after use, it can still be broken down into a fabric and applied to create new material for another backpack, instead of being thrown out and ending up in landfill or our oceans.

600D rPET Recycled Polyester

rPET is Fiber made from recycled plastic bottles. Billions of plastic bottles go into landfills every year. Most plastic water bottles are made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), and rPET is the material that we get from recycling these bottles. Recycling diverts material away from the waste stream by keeping it out of landfills and oceans and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators. Recycling lowers dependence on petroleum as a source for raw materials and uses less energy than virgin plastic counterparts, resulting in lower emissions. Products produced from recycled polyester have the potential to be continuously recycled, promoting a closed-loop system. rPET encouraging sustainability and reducing ocean plastic. MORAL rPET is made following The Global Recycle Standard.
