Jan 2025: The Opening of Moral's First Retail Store

The Hollywood Plaza store marks the first self-operated shop we’ve opened since the closure of our K11 store in 2022, making it easier for customers to find their desired styles without having to visit multiple sales points.

On January 2, 2025, Moral’s Hollywood Plaza store officially opened its doors. The store features a predominantly wood-accented design, creating a relaxed and natural environment for the residents of Diamond Hill—not just a space for displaying products, but a lifestyle hub. We wanted every visitor to feel at ease while browsing for the perfect bag, finding a companion that complements their daily life.

The Hollywood Plaza store offers a spacious environment, showcasing over 200 styles of bags. Compared to other sales points, this flagship location provides a more focused and tailored shopping experience. Knowledgeable staff are always on hand to answer questions and help customers find their ideal bag. Additionally, the large space allows us to display a wider variety of colors, making it easier for customers to explore their options at a glance.

Mar 2025: The Best-Selling Cecil Compact Backpack Launches Its Second Generation

The first-generation Cecil Compact backpack became an iconic product for Moral, loved by working professionals for its practicality and style.

The Cecil Compact Backpack II carries on the legacy of the original, retaining its strengths while reinterpreting the details to elevate both fashion and functionality. Designed for business professionals seeking a versatile work-and-leisure backpack, the second generation features significant upgrades to the straps, zippers, and laptop compartment.

Straps: The new 3-layer structure design ensures a more comfortable carrying experience.
Zippers: Equipped with two types of zippers—a high-polymer, high-water-pressure zipper and a durable, waterproof YKK zipper—offering excellent protection to keep your belongings dry while maintaining the backpack’s structured shape.

May 2025: Chapel Sudoku Pet Carrier Wins Gold at the Smart Design Awards

Organized by the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association, the "Hong Kong Smart Design Awards" celebrates its 13th year, and we are honored that our Chapel Sudoku Pet Carrier has been awarded the Gold Prize.

This marks the second consecutive year that Moral Bags has participated in the Smart Design Awards and received a Gold Prize. The Chapel Sudoku Pet Carrier is a versatile product designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Indoors, it serves as a soft and cozy bed for pets, while outdoors, it transforms into a semi-enclosed pet carrier.

The Chapel Sudoku Pet Carrier also comes with practical accessories to adapt to various environments, including a thick fleece blanket for warmth and a breathable zippered mesh pocket. We are deeply grateful for the judges’ recognition of Moral’s designs.

Jun 2025: Moral Opens Its Second Store at T.O.P Mall

The T.O.P Mall store is compact in size, focusing on showcasing Moral’s best-selling products.

About six months after opening our retail store at Hollywood Plaza, we took the next step into one of Hong Kong’s busiest areas: Mong Kok. Our store is located at T.O.P Mall, a hotspot for young people, where we aim to bring Moral’s eco-friendly and stylish backpacks to a new generation.

Considering the unique foot traffic at T.O.P Mall, we set our target audience as office workers in nearby buildings and the younger crowd. To cater to these groups, we carefully selected a range of business backpacks and crossbody bags, hoping to earn the favor of both communities.

Aug - Sep 2025: Crowdfunding and Launch of Umago Ronin Backpack

The Umago Ronin Backpack launched its crowdfunding campaign on Taiwan's ZecZec platform in mid-August, ultimately achieving a success rate of 832%.

The Umago Ronin Backpack is a masterpiece that combines Moral’s craftsmanship with a keen sense of style. Inspired by the concept of the "Ronin", the backpack embodies a free-spirited lifestyle that resonates with modern trends—nomadic living. It addresses travelers' needs in three key areas: expandability, functionality, and comfort, ensuring every journey is effortless and well-supported.

Additionally, the Umago Ronin Backpack is the first product to feature crinkle-textured fabric, a new material that is not only practical but also highly stylish. It is water-resistant, stain-resistant, wind-resistant, and expandable, elevating your daily experience while enhancing your style.

The crowdfunding campaign ran on ZecZec from August 11 to September 8, achieving a success rate of 832%. Following its success in Taiwan, the Ronin Backpack officially launched in Hong Kong on September 18. Since then, it has been restocked several times, quickly becoming Moral’s second iconic bestseller after the Cecil Compact Backpack.

We even invited Gen-Z idol EG to showcase the Japanese-inspired charm of the Umago Ronin Backpack.

Oct 2025: Launch of the Third Collaboration with Miyo

For our third collaboration with KOL Miyo, we introduced the "MORAL X MIYOMM Tote Bag" collection, aimed at attracting more female customers.

Miyo once again joined hands with us to design products tailored for women. Unlike the mini backpacks from the previous two collaborations, the "MORAL X MIYOMM Day Tote" series was created specifically for businesswomen. The tote bag comes in two colors and two sizes: medium and small. The medium size is perfect for work or shopping, while the small size offers the option to purchase a custom shoulder strap, making it versatile enough to be carried as a shoulder bag, no longer limited to just one style—ideal for quick outings.

On October 2, 2025, we held the "MORAL X MIYOMM Tote Bag" product launch event at the Cordis Hotel in Mong Kok. The event featured a star-studded lineup, including various KOLs, business partners, and even singer Deep Ng, who made an appearance.

Oct 2025: Opening of the Third Store at Yuen Long YOHO

The YOHO store embodies a functional aesthetic, perfectly aligned with YOHO's modern and upscale fashion image.

On October 17, 2025, the Moral YOHO II store officially opened its doors. Designed with a focus on functionality, the store features a cool-toned color palette of black, white, and gray. The metallic perforated façade and clean, sharp lines add a touch of futuristic flair. The displayed products mainly feature darker tones, complementing the store’s style and emphasizing a sleek urban aesthetic. The YOHO II store is more than just a retail space—it’s a showcase of a modern lifestyle.

Each of our three retail stores represents a core element of Moral: Hollywood Plaza: Sustainability + Mong Kok T.O.P: Minimalism + YOHO MALL II: Functionality = Moral Bags.
